For the year 2010, there are different luxury cars that has been released by different welknown manufucturers.And only few people in the world can afford to buy this kind of luxury cars. As of 2009 ~ 2010 there are only numbers of expensive luxury cars that has been recorded.

There are some other expensive cars that has been recorded and sold for almost $8 million dollars 20 years ago. Those cars are consider as rare at this present time. And the reason why it became the most expensive one, because of its quality and the age of the cars that make it more rare and expensive. The most expensive cars that ever recorded in the history was the 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe was sold $8.7 Million in 1987, pretty much expensive right? but this car are not included for the latest record of the most expensive cars of the year.
